WASHINGTON, D.C. â" Next week, Secretary Perry will travel to Poland, Ukraine, Hungary and Czech Republic to build on his recent efforts to elevate American energy partnerships in the region, most recently at the Three Seas Summit in Romania. During the summit, the Secretary launched the Partnership for Transatlantic Energy Cooperation (P-TEC) which seeks to expand the energy cooperation between the United States and our European allies.
On this trip, Secretary Perry will engage with government officials on a variety of topics from nuclear energy to cybersecurity and coal and LNG exports. He will also meet with industry stakeholders operating in the region and tour energy facilities, including the Trypilska Plant, which received the first shipment of thermal coal from the United States last summer, a result of the efforts of the Trump Administration to expand American energy exports.
